The short version: SuperCalculator runs without user accounts, without third-party advertising, and without selling data. Your calculator inputs stay in your browser — they are encoded into the URL so you can share or bookmark a scenario, but they are not stored on our servers.
What we collect
What you type into a calculator
Calculator inputs (loan amount, height, salary, etc.) live in the URL of the page you are using. They are processed entirely in your browser and on our server when generating the initial page. We do not write them to a database, and we do not log them on our servers.
What you ask the AI router (/ask)
Natural-language questions sent to the /ask endpoint are processed by Anthropic’s Claude API to route you to the right calculator. The text of your question is transmitted to Anthropic for that single request. We do not store these queries, and Anthropic’s data-handling terms apply to anything that briefly transits their systems. We rate-limit by IP to prevent abuse.
Basic server logs
Our hosting provider (Vercel) records standard request logs (timestamp, route, status code, IP address, user agent) for security and performance monitoring. These logs are retained for a short period and are not used for advertising or profiling.
Privacy-friendly analytics (optional)
If we enable analytics, we use Plausible Analytics or a similar privacy-respecting tool. These services do not use cookies, do not collect personal data, and aggregate page-view information at the country level only. You can verify whether analytics is enabled by inspecting the network requests in your browser.
What we do not do
- We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any advertising trackers.
- We do not sell or rent any data to third parties.
- We do not show ads (third-party or first-party).
- We do not build behavioral profiles of users.
- We do not require accounts or any login to use the calculators.
Cookies and local storage
SuperCalculator uses one piece of local browser storage: a key called sc.theme that remembers whether you chose light or dark mode. This data never leaves your browser. We do not set any tracking cookies.
If you contact us
If you email us, we keep the email so we can reply. We will not add you to any mailing list or share your email with anyone.
Children
SuperCalculator is intended for general audiences. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights
Because we do not collect personal data tied to an identity, there is generally nothing for us to delete, export, or correct on your behalf. If you believe we hold information about you and want it removed, email us at the address on the contact page.
Changes to this policy
We will note significant changes at the top of this page with a new “Last updated” date. We will not retroactively use historical data in new ways without telling you.
